LASUED Courses 2026/2027: Degree Programmes Listed for Admission Screening

Source-checkedLast verified September 8, 2026Official source ↗

LASUED’s 2026/2027 admission-screening notice lists a broad undergraduate programme portfolio across its colleges. The list is useful for confirming that a degree is part of the screening exercise, but applicants still need to match the chosen programme to the correct O’Level requirement and the applicable UTME or Direct Entry route. A programme appearing in the notice is not, by itself, proof that every applicant is eligible.

Humanities, languages and communication programmes

The official notice includes programmes such as History, History and Diplomatic Studies, Christian Religious Studies, Islamic Studies, Fine and Applied Arts, Music and Theatre Arts. It also lists language and communication options including English Language and Literature, English Education, Language Arts and Communication, French, Arabic, Yoruba and Igbo in both education and non-education forms where specified.

Applicants should pay attention to the exact award title. A B.A. programme and a B.A. Ed. programme can have different subject expectations even when the discipline name looks similar.

Science, computing and technology programmes

LASUED lists science programmes including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Statistics, together with education variants such as Biology Education, Chemistry Education, Physics Education, Mathematics Education and Integrated Science Education. The notice also includes Computer Science, Computer Science Education, Technology Education and Library and Information Science.

For these programmes, the official programme-specific O’Level requirement table on LASUED’s admission system is especially important. Check the required science or mathematics subjects for the exact course rather than assuming all science programmes use the same combination.

Vocational, business and management programmes

The 2026/2027 notice lists Agricultural Education, Home Economics, Business Education and Entrepreneurship. It also includes management and business-related degrees such as Marketing, Marketing Education, Office and Information Management, Accounting, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Economics and Economics Education.

These programmes can differ in whether Mathematics, Economics or another commercial subject is compulsory at O’Level. Use the course-specific LASUED requirement record instead of relying on a broad “commercial subjects” description.

Social sciences and professional education

Political Science, Political Science Education, Geography, Geography Education, Transport Management and Social Studies and Civic Education are among the social-science options listed. LASUED also lists professional education programmes such as Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, Guidance and Counselling, Special Needs Education, Adult and Continuous Education and Educational Management.

If you are applying through Direct Entry, the general screening notice confirms that Direct Entry candidates are part of the 2026/2027 exercise, but it does not provide a complete programme-by-programme DE feeder matrix. Do not invent a course-specific NCE, ND or Diploma route where LASUED has not published one.

2026/2027 screening eligibility

The official screening notice states that UTME candidates who chose LASUED and scored at least 185, together with the relevant O’Level credits, were eligible for the screening exercise. It also includes Direct Entry candidates, particularly NCE holders, who chose LASUED as first choice through JAMB. The notice requires five relevant credits including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two sittings and sets other current-session conditions such as age and result upload.

The original notice gave a screening registration period from June 1 to July 5, 2026. Because application status can later be reopened or changed on an official portal, use the live route-status page for today’s application window instead of treating the old dates as a permanent statement about the programme.

How to choose a LASUED course safely

LAG Institutes currently has 64 LASUED undergraduate course records based on the institution’s official O’Level requirement table. Where the institution does not publish a complete course-by-course UTME or Direct Entry matrix, our pages label that as a source limitation rather than filling the gap with assumptions.

How to verify before you act

Admission information can change after a page is published. Use the linked official source as the final check before you pay, upload credentials, change an institution choice or travel for a screening or clearance step. If the institution later publishes a newer notice for the same session, the newer official notice takes priority over an older guide.

LAG Institutes is an independent information platform. We do not make admission decisions, collect institution login passwords or promise admission outcomes. You can also use the Admission Finder to compare routes and the outdated-information form if an official page changes before our next verification.
