Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

LAG Institutes collects only information reasonably needed to answer an admission-assistance request, process a reader correction, operate the website, protect the service from abuse, and measure or support website performance. We do not ask users to send passwords, JAMB profile codes, portal passwords, bank PINs or payment-card credentials through our public forms.

Admission enquiries

When you submit the Admission Help form, we may collect your name, contact details, qualification, institution or programme interest, preferred course, JAMB status and the question you want help with. This information is used to respond to the request and manage follow-up by the support team.

Accuracy reports

Reader reports about outdated information are stored privately for editorial review. A reader report never changes a public admission page automatically; the controlling official source is checked first.

Google advertising and cookies

LAG Institutes may use Google AdSense and related Google advertising services to display advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on a visitor’s previous visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads to users based on visits to LAG Institutes and/or other sites on the Internet.

Users can manage or opt out of personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings. Google provides more information about how it uses data from sites and apps that use its services at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

If other third-party advertising vendors or networks are used, their cookies and privacy practices may also apply. Where required by applicable law, visitors will be given an appropriate consent choice for advertising or other non-essential storage before those technologies are used for purposes that require consent.

Consent for visitors in the EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland

Where Google advertising is served to users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland and consent is legally required, LAG Institutes will use a Google-certified Consent Management Platform or Google’s own consent-management solution to obtain and communicate the required privacy choices for advertising.

Analytics and other third-party services

Email delivery, analytics, security, caching, WhatsApp or other third-party services may process limited information under their own privacy terms when those services are enabled. We aim to use only information reasonably necessary for the relevant function.

Retention and access

Information should be kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was submitted, legal or accounting obligations, dispute handling, fraud prevention and site security. Access to private enquiry and correction records is limited to authorised WordPress users who need it for those purposes.

Your choices and questions

You can choose not to submit an admission enquiry, manage browser cookies through your browser settings, and use Google Ads Settings for Google advertising preferences. For privacy questions or concerns, use the Contact page.
