For YABATECH HND admission, the College's published general rule requires the SSCE/JAMB entry conditions for the corresponding ND programme, a relevant National Diploma at not below Lower Credit and at least one year of relevant post-ND industrial experience. Applicants should also ensure that the required transcript reaches the College within the current admission instructions.

Higher-entry qualifications are course-specific. An ND, HND, NCE, JUPEB or A-Level result that is accepted for one programme should not be assumed to qualify you for another programme with a similar name.

Common mistakes to avoid

• Biology and Agricultural Science may be alternatives in some courses but not in all.
• Food-related courses can require Chemistry even when applicants expect only Biology.
• For higher entry, confirm whether Agricultural Technology, Fisheries, Horticulture or another related ND is accepted.
