This notice records the current relationship between LASUED’s 2026/2027 screening announcement and its live undergraduate portal.
What the official screening notice says
LASUED’s 2026/2027 screening notice states that online Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening was scheduled from 1 June to 5 July 2026. It sets a minimum UTME score of 185, requires LASUED as first choice, five relevant O’Level credits including English and Mathematics, and age 16 or above by 1 October 2026.
What the live portal says now
As rechecked on 23 September 2026, LASUED’s undergraduate portal shows the 2026/2027 full-time undergraduate route as “Not Yet Opened”, while the direct application page says the undergraduate application has been closed. Applicants should therefore not treat a portal button or the older June notice as proof of a fresh application window.
What applicants should do
- If you already completed screening, follow LASUED and JAMB/CAPS for the next admission step.
- If you did not apply during the published screening window, wait for a fresh official LASUED reopening notice before paying.
- Do not confuse the 185 screening threshold with a guaranteed programme merit score.
